Ludo Vest started from a complaint nobody in the genre could answer. The fix turned out to be old, boring cryptography — and a decision to stop asking players to take our word for anything.
01
Search any big Ludo game and the top review is the same sentence in a dozen languages: the dice are rigged when you are winning. Usually it is not true. It is also unfalsifiable, which is worse — every studio answers "our RNG is fair, trust us", and trust is exactly what the player has run out of.
02
Ludo Vest commits to its dice before the first roll. The server draws a seed, publishes its hash, and derives every roll from that seed with HMAC. When the match ends you get the seed. If the sequence we played does not hash back to the number we published at the start, we were caught — publicly, by anyone, with a laptop.
03
Once the dice are honest, the shop is the next place trust leaks. Hearts start at $0.49 for 50 where the genre charges $0.99, and nothing you buy touches the board: cosmetics are cosmetic, an undo re-draws a value that was already fixed, and the sum of Gold across a match is never positive.
04
Ludo is played out loud, so clubs have ten live voice seats, a role ladder with real moderation rules, and a shared gift jar that pays out in proportion to what people actually put in. Club chat keeps no history on purpose: a room you walk into, not a backlog you owe replies to.

Some decisions are easier to keep if they are written down in public while nobody is under pressure.
Hard currency buys cosmetics and Hearts. If a future feature would need the dice generator to know who paid, the feature does not ship.
The Hearts prices and the XP table are published, and the XP table is a public endpoint. If they move, they move where you can see them.
A club room is somewhere you go, not a backlog that follows you. A 24-hour trail of hashes for abuse handling is the whole of it.
The people behind it
Ludo Vest is built and run by Orvexaco. It is a small team — small enough that a bug report reaches the person who wrote the bug.
